Below you can see some of the awards that FCCA, Audrey Foster, and Alison Foster Davis have received over the years. While these awards highlight the accomplishments of the agency and its staff, the true reward lies in the placement of children into loving permanent families.


DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD - 2014

This award was presented to Alison Foster Davis by the University of Pacific, honoring her non-profit work in the field of adoption. Alison was nominated for this award by fellow UOP graduate, Peter Williams.

ANGELS IN ADOPTION - 2010
This award was presented to Alison Foster Davis by the Congressional Coalition of Adoption Institutes, a non-partisan alliance of members of Congress who are dedicated to improving adoption policies. Alison was nomiated by The Honorable Dennis Cardoza, California House of Representatives, 18th District.

ADOPTION EXCELLENCE AWARDS - 2006
Presented by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration of Children and Families, this award recognized FCCA in the area of faith-based initiative supporting adoptions from foster care.  The award recognized FCCA's unique partnership programs with various churches to recruit adoptive families from all sectors of the faith community.  

ANGELS IN ADOPTION  - 2003
Audrey Foster was nominated for and presented with this prestigious award by The Honorable Dennis Cardoza, California House of Representatives, 18th District.

WOMAN OF THE YEAR - 2001
In recognition of outstanding service and dedication to the people of the state of California, this award was presented to Audrey Foster by then-Assemblyman Dennis Cardoza, California Legislature.

ALUMNI OF THE YEAR - 1998
Presented by the Alumni Association of California State University at Stanislaus to Audrey Foster for her service to the families of California and the children of the world; for outstanding achievement as the founder and former Executive Director of the adoption agency named Family Connections; and for outstanding achievement as the founder of two children's relief organizations: Children's Center of Ethiopia and Shared Blessings of Uganda (both of which are now independent organizations not affiliated with FCCA).

ACTIVIST AWARD - 1997
Presented to Audrey Foster by The North American Council on Adoptable Children for outstanding efforts on behalf of children.

SEAL OF THE SENATE 1989
Presented by Senator Dan McCorquodale, for caring service to the families and children of California.
